Why did you choose to go to Marquette?
Because Marquette has a good dental
program, and I want to go to dental school.
What made you want to join BSO?
It would be cool to meet other people with the
same background and culture as I do.
Have you ever been to the Philippines? Yes,
I’ve been there a couple of times actually.
Around seven times I think. The first time was
when I was two years old and the most recent
was Christmas 2011.
Can you speak Tagalog? I can’t. I only
understand a little bit.
Favorite Filipino Food: Pancit, Sinigang and
Adobo.
Fun Fact: I do taekwondo. (She’s a black
belter!)

Why did you choose Marquette? I wanted to go to a Jesuit University and I heard about Marquette’s good reputation.
What made you want to join BSO? I would like to meet new people with the same heritage. I did not have a lot Filipino friends back in Canada.
Have you ever been to the Philippines? I was born there and move to Toronto when I was 5 years. I’m also visiting the Philippines this summer.
Can you speak Tagalog? No, but I can understand a little bit.
Favorite Filipino Food: Kare-Kare
