After many hours of work, tireless nights and website crashes, we are finally proud to present a new website for the Bayanihan Student Organization. When we first entered into our roles as historians, we wanted to take Bukas into a totally new direction. Today, most people, especially our generation, receive their news not from newspapers, but from online sources. To reflect that fact, we have created a new home for Bukas online, a move that has opened up numerous opportunities for our organization. Of course, Bukas will still be published in the .pdf format of past years, but we hope that our move online will help to offer new ways of telling stories and sharing our experiences.

 

We also hope a new website for the club itself will help us share BSO with more people and create a place for members to better communicate with each other. By having an online presence, BSO can better reach out to potential members, alumni and other schools.

 

While we have accomplished much already (and we hope you can see that!), there is still a lot of work to do. This website is meant to be Bayanihan’s, which means it is yours. Tell us what you want to see! Write articles that interest you and share your talents and gifts with the rest of the club! A website is only as good as its users, and we know we have some of the best in the world. We look forward to working with all of you!
